What you get

  • ✓Hills: 33% capital subsidy (up to ₹10 lakh) + 50% interest subsidy (up to ₹1.5 lakh/yr, 5 yrs)
  • ✓Plains: 25% capital subsidy (up to ₹7.5 lakh) + interest subsidy up to ₹1 lakh/yr
  • ✓Registered homestays also get residential (not commercial) power & water tariffs
Area advantage: Hill (Category A/B) homes get the higher 33% / ₹10 lakh capital subsidy slab.

Who is eligible

  • •Own a residential house in Uttarakhand
  • •Register the homestay with the Tourism Department
  • •1-6 rooms let out within the owner-occupied home

Register on the Uttarakhand Tourism homestay portal, then apply for the subsidy through your bank + District Tourism Office.
